Students Win 2011 SRA Staff vs. Students Softball Game

The middle school baseball and softball teams from Santa Rosa Academy took on the teachers and staff in the annual Staff vs. Students Softball game on Wednesday. It was a hard fought battle as the two rivals went back and forth, exchanging the lead 4 different times until the hot bats of the students took over in the late innings. Things got out of hand for the Staff when they brought in the Dodger-fan-for-the-stadium, Mr. Sanchez, who proceeded to give up a staggering 6 runs in only 1 inning pitched. It was a fun filled afternoon at the ball-field, and while the students have bragging rights this year, the staff will get back at them in the next Staff vs. Students game coming up on the hardwood floor in March.
