The Cross Country season came to a close last week as the Middle School runners had a great showing in their League Championship Meet at Riverside Community College in Moreno Valley. The Boys team came in 4th place with a total of 100 points. Coming in 16th place out of 111 boys was Tucker Shaw, who ran a personal best 2 miles in 13:04. Ben Graves also had a strong showing as the 28th runner of 111. The Girls team placed 6th at 120 points with Leslie Lopez finishing 27th out of 72 runners.
The High School XC team also ran in league finals at Lake Perris last week. Ben Miller finished at a team low 22:35 for his 3 mile run with Jaren Gerdes right behind him at 22:58. The Girls team finished in 3rd place out of 6 teams at the Victory League Finals. Freshman Victoria Vega led the way finishing in 3rd place out of 22 runners at 23:02.
The teams had a great season of fun and improvement. We can’t wait to see how fast they can run next season!
